311 Day 2012 and 2 Years of Marriage

What up all!!

We just got back from Vegas a few hours ago and I'm exhausted but wanted to get down some of my favorite parts of the trip. The best part by far was getting to celebrate 2 years of marriage with my best Friend!

But that wasn't the only reason we went to Vegas. We went for 311 day, which involved a 2 day concert and 311 fans everywhere! I wanted to put a few of my favorite parts of the concerts up but its so hard to choose between any of them.

Lets start with the fans, if you've never been to a 311 concert you're really missing something cool in the fans. I have never been to another concert where the fans are so chill, so caring, and so friendly. It's really something to experience, I promise you won't leave a 311 concert and feel like you wasted money, not only because of the concerts are ALWAYS amazing but because you're sure to leave having made a ton of new friends. The cool thing about 311 day is seeing all the fans in their 311 shirts taking over a whole city getting to know each other all weekend.  In front of us sat a Labor and Delivery nurse who made sure I was hydrated and taken care of in between songs and sets.  She has 4 kids and went to 311 concerts with all 4. She was even pregnant at the last 311 day. Behind us sat a couple who have been fans for quite a long time.  The girl gave me a tigers eye stone to keep with our baby to protect him. Next to them was a 17 year old who was there by himself and impressively knew every song for someone so young. Behind them sat a couple from Boston who has a 5 year old who loves to sing along with 311 songs at home. These were just some of the interactions we had at the concerts this isn't even including the conversations in hallways, on the monorail and throughout all the casinos. 311 has the best fans in the whole world!

Moving on to songs.  I loved that they played Taiyed, it was the 311th time it was performed on stage.  And I super love that baby boy kicked through the whole song!

I was happily surprised to hear the B side song Time Is Precious.  It was like BIL2 was right there with us. who we stopped to see on our way down to Vegas.  We miss him tons and the song was beautiful.

Beyond the Grey Sky was AMAZING.

I really should just post the set lists because the whole thing was Off The Hook.

I love love loved every ones Solos, from P-Nut's walking the ENTIRE crowd while playing the bass, Chads always amazing drum playing, To Nick doing a whole song by himself! No one has more Talent than that of, Nick, P-Nut, Chad, Tim, and SA!

Anyway there's so much more but really you should have just been there!  I'm a bit sleepy so sorry if this post is sloppy I just wanted to get it out:)

Happy 311 Day to all and Happy Anniversary to the best Husband in the whole world!
